The star of the show is the new P3020, boasting an impressive payload capacity of 30kg (60lbs) and an unrivaled reach of 2,030mm (80in), making it the longest-reaching collaborative robot on the market.


Before diving into the details of the P-SERIES, I also want to mention that I saw one of the Doosan Robotics robot at CES 2024, the Mixmaster Moodie. It is a unique robot that utilizes rubber artificial muscles to serve cocktails to patrons based on visual and audio cues. With the P3020 extended reach and high payload capacity, it can effortlessly stack boxes up to 2m high (approximately 10 layers of 8-inch tall boxes) using a simple fixed base without the need for a lift. This capability significantly streamlines the palletizing workflow, reducing the need for manual labor and increasing overall efficiency.


Doosan Robotics has always prioritized safety in the development of its cobots, and the P3020 is no exception. The new model achieves the highest PL (e) and Cat 4 safety ratings, ensuring maximum power and safety for users. This commitment to safety allows the P3020 to seamlessly integrate into various work environments, collaborating with human workers without compromising their well-being.



Since the launch of the H-SERIES in 2022, Doosan Robotics has made significant strides in the global market, attracting major customers such as Schiphol Airport and Wacker Korea. The company has successfully dominated the high-payload collaborative robot market in the 20kg range and above, offering advanced palletizing solutions. With the introduction of the P-SERIES, Doosan Robotics is poised to further increase its global market share and exceed previous achievements.

Earlier this year, Doosan released two new products: its new Dart-Suite software and Otto Matic palletizing system. The company said the AI powering its systems continuously learns and updates its model by downloading modules automatically.


Doosan described Dart-Suite as a robot ecosystem that “redefines” its customers’ experience with its robots and makes automation more accessible. The platform incorporates AI to enable users to develop, sell, download, and trigger actions through various interfaces. The suite uses an integrated development environment (IDE), which Doosan said allows customers to create modules tailored to their needs, similar to mobile device apps.

Otto Matic is a depalletizing and palletizing system that can handle unstructured and random-sized boxes. Doosan said it developed the system to bring additional deep learning and computer vision technology to its cobots.
